The waste debris collection apparatus, developed at IIT Delhi by Prof. Amit K. Jain, efficiently removes waste like leaves, paper plates, and wrappers from streets. It features a cylindrical roller and brush mechanism that squeezes and collects debris, transferring it to a collection unit. A dynamo provides power, and the adjustable gap between the roller and brush allows adaptation for different trash sizes. The lightweight design and customizable brushes make it versatile for various cleaning intensities. This apparatus is suited for residential areas, healthcare facilities, shopping centers, airports, and public parks.
