Daksh is a household-cum-community scale composter designed to address India's solid waste management crisis by enabling decentralized and sustainable composting. The innovative composter promotes rapid biodegradation in minimal space, offering features like daily waste storage, compost collection, and leachate management at an affordable cost for small communities. Applications include reducing landfill stress, fostering zero-waste management, and promoting urban greenery and landscaping. Currently in the prototype and testing phase, the product aligns with initiatives like Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan to enhance public awareness and participation in waste reduction. This technology aims to transform kitchen waste into valuable compost, contributing to sustainable solid waste solutions.
