SUTD researchers have introduced a dynamic tree-based one-time password (DGTOTP) scheme to enhance cybersecurity, addressing limitations of traditional OTP methods. The technology supports secure authentication in changing group environments, with minimal computational load on small devices. Applications include collaborative workspaces and online communities requiring secure and flexible access. This system’s dynamic structure allows users to join or leave without disrupting security or efficiency. It advances user privacy and security, aiming to reduce vulnerabilities found in existing OTP protocols.
