Fostering Voice Behavior in Correctional Institutions - Investigating the Role of Organizational Support and Proactive Personality

This study explores the relationship between perceived organizational support, proactive personality, and voice behavior in correctional institutions. It finds that proactive personality significantly influences voice behavior, both directly and indirectly, through increased work engagement. Perceived organizational support boosts work engagement but does not directly affect voice behavior. The research emphasizes fostering proactive traits to encourage organizational change and improvements. Applications include improving institutional culture and encouraging employee contributions in correctional settings.
