This innovation combines the Knife-Edge Method with Astigmatism and Conjugate Focus Methods to address inaccuracies caused by speckle deformation near the focal point in traditional autofocus systems. The proposed method eliminates the need to determine defocus direction, improving both accuracy and response time in autofocus modules. Applications include precision manufacturing, automated testing, and quality control systems where high accuracy is critical. The system enhances performance in scenarios where traditional autofocus methods may fail due to optical distortion.
