The Haptic Knob 2 (HK2) device aids stroke patients in regaining hand and forearm motor skills through haptic technology and a CAM mechanism. It allows simultaneous or individual exercises for hand opening/closing and forearm rotation in a compact, ergonomic design. Unlike traditional devices, HK2 offers uninterrupted training without needing adjustments, suitable for home or clinical use. Preliminary clinical trials show its readiness for mass production, promising an affordable rehabilitation solution for stroke survivors.
