Tags: Universiti Malaya, Malaysia, Healthcare & Lifesciences, Construction & Smart Cities
This study presents a conceptual framework for assessing wayfinding performance in complex healthcare facilities. The framework considers both user and environmental factors, addressing a critical challenge faced by hospital users. A comprehensive review of the literature was conducted to identify gaps and propose a holistic approach to wayfinding. The proposed framework aims to improve navigation and enhance user experience in hospitals. It can be applied by researchers and healthcare professionals to better design and assess hospital environments for optimal wayfinding.
