This invention combines hardware and software systems for identifying assembly components using machine vision. The hardware includes two 4MP industrial cameras and a backlit acrylic sheet for capturing high-quality images. The software processes these images using both image processing techniques and deep learning algorithms. This technology enables accurate and fast identification of assembly fastening elements and their dimensions. It is useful in mechanical and manufacturing industries for quality control and record-keeping of assembly components.
