Synthesized with chemical derivatization, it forms nanocomplexes for a rapid and sustained release of insulin. Demonstrated in mice, it offers optimal bioavailability, pharmacokinetics, and safety. The technology promises a novel approach to diabetes management, highlighting its potential in improving patient care. Scaling up and further testing in larger models are future steps.
