Portable Ultrasound with Vibrator for Tissue Elasticity Test
A Method for Measuring Elasticity Value of Biological Tissue, an Ultrasonic Device, and a Analyzation Device
Tags: National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan, Healthcare & Lifesciences
This technology provides a method for measuring the mechanical properties of biological tissues using a portable ultrasound imaging device paired with an add-on vibrator. The device generates elastic waves and measures tissue elasticity with precision. Its replaceable battery ensures the ultrasound device remains powered during use, making it convenient for clinicians. Applications include non-invasive medical diagnostics and industrial ultrasound testing. The design allows for low-cost integration with existing clinical ultrasound systems.
