A two-stage water purification system has been developed that operates without electrical power, utilizing the wicking properties of needle-punched nonwoven fabric. The first filtration stage removes turbidity, suspended solids, and total dissolved solids (TDS) through capillary action. The second stage efficiently eliminates bacteria, ensuring clean and safe water. This system is cost-effective, simple, and sustainable due to its low level of mechanization. Applications include water filtration industries and decentralized clean water solutions.
