An adaptive control system for a power electronic converter enables seamless synchronization between a microgrid, the utility grid, and diesel generators. It ensures an uninterrupted power supply for critical loads while mitigating power quality issues. The system reduces short-term demand spikes through peak shaving, optimizing energy distribution. Applications include energy management in microgrids to enhance reliability and efficiency. A functional prototype has been tested in a simulated laboratory environment.
