A solar PV-battery hybrid water pumping system using a synchronous reluctance motor has been developed to provide uninterrupted irrigation in rural areas without grid access. The system reduces the size of the PV panel while improving energy utilization and eliminating mechanical sensors, making it more cost-effective. It ensures efficient water pumping with lower operational costs compared to existing solutions. The hybrid design enhances reliability in regions with inconsistent electricity supply. Applications include domestic and agricultural irrigation in off-grid and remote locations.
