This research focuses on developing touchless biometric identification and verification techniques using multiresolution machine learning and deep learning. A prototype mobile app for touchless fingerprint recognition has been created, and the researchers are integrating ear and iris-based systems into a comprehensive software package. Applications include use in UIDAI, law enforcement, border control, corporate offices, and healthcare. The technology aims to improve hygiene, usability, and robustness in biometric systems, especially relevant post-pandemic. While no patents are filed yet, the technology holds significant potential for national and corporate security.
